News & Updates from John
Here are recent Op-Ed submissions from Candidate Barker:
To: The Press of Atlantic City:
I am proud to have this opportunity to say hello to the good people of New Jersey Congressional District 2,
My name is John Barker. I am actually a current Republican candidate for US Congress, ready to represent this great District. I plan on bringing a conservative agenda and a bit of sanity to Washington.
Running as a bit of an outsider (I have no Party backing), you might think it would be tough to get elected. I mean, who, pray tell, could get me enough votes to actually win an election?
But then I learned the secret. Well, it really wasn’t much of a secret. In fact, it was in a lot of newspapers, including The Press of Atlantic City, with whom I have no issues.
You see, what I learned was this: The way to get elected in South Jersey, so these papers say, is to do what incumbent Rep. Jeff Van Drew did. Hire Former Atlantic City Council president Craig Callaway.
And, you may ask, who is Craig Callaway? He is just one of the most effective “ballot harvesters” in America. In fact, since the early 1990s, he has reliably delivered thousands of votes to the candidates he supports, election after election.
Wait. Can this be true? Are politicians hiring “ballot harvesters” in South Jersey?
Well, let’s ask this fine newspaper, The Press of Atlantic City (“quoted”):
“Atlantic City political organizer Craig Callaway personally assisted at least 125 people with filling out requests for new or replacement mail-in ballots in the waning days of the November election, according to a recent complaint sent to the state Attorney General’s Office by an active member of the Democratic Party in Atlantic County.”
“The ballots were virtually all delivered to voters via messengers and returned via drop boxes around the county from mid-October to Election Day on Nov. 3, according to data from the Atlantic County Board of Elections.”
“The sheer number of ballots Callaway helped voters apply for in less than a month shows how many people the organizer has direct access to and why both parties have used his get-out-the-vote services for decades.”
See what I mean? Who knew that working with one of the most effective “ballot harvesters” (also convicted felon) in America could get you elected to Congress?
So I learned that in the 2020 congressional primary, Callaway worked for Democrat Amy Kennedy. But in the general election, he signed on with the re-election campaign of her opponent, Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew. That is when the Democrats turned on Callaway and complained to the State that he had personally assisted people with mail-in ballots.
And as this fine publication reported:
“In last year’s congressional race, Callaway worked for Democratic candidate Amy Kennedy in the primary, then for Republican incumbent Van Drew in the general election, in which Van Drew defeated Kennedy. Van Drew paid Callaway more than $120,000, according to his filings with the Federal Election Commission.” Wow.
Hey, have any of you seen “2000 Mules” yet? Asking for a friend.
John Barker, the only true conservative in this race.

“Baby, It’s Woke Outside”
Well we all know that the cancel culture loves (or is it hates?) the Christmas season. We were taught a few years ago that the Christmas carol, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”, was no longer allowed on our music lists due to the misogynistic lyrics. And of course, there were plenty of woke radio stations that agreed, and sent that song far away, back to the memories of Christmas past.
I do wonder why the woke-est amongst us stopped at only this one yuletide classic. There are so many great songs that families sing around the holiday fireplace that (if you look hard enough) contain secretly offensive, off-colored words that can send any of these overseers-of-society into a cancelation frenzy.
Take for example the vial racism of “Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer”. A minority reindeer is mocked and excluded from all caribou related games. This, all because his nose is “not the majority” color. But when Santa (the master of the confined reindeer) needs help, he expects Rudolph to just accept the past, and save Christmas from the scary white obstructionist (ah, the snow).
And who can dare sing, “Frosty the Snowman” ever again? On a planet where fossil fuels are destroying civilization (in 7 yrs, right?), the audacity of a snowman walking around the streets of town with “two eyes made out of coal”. The climate change watchdogs should never allow this outrage.
Well I will let “White Christmas” speak for itself. I mean really, what could I possibly add? But please, don’t get me started on “Deck the Halls”. If anyone is donning gay apparel, they need to apologize to the LBGT movement immediately.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a woke-fright.
Watch what you say……People may repeat it.
There is a young woman from Huntingdon Valley, PA that I have never met. Her name is Anna Kalandadze. And although I have never met her, I do know a few things about her. I know that Anna is smart. (She attends Ivy League University of Pennsylvania). I know that she is a superior athlete. (She is a member of Penn’s swimming team). I know Anna Kalandadze is dedicated to a sport that she excels in. (Anna was a 3 time District Champion, among other earned titles, before she even got to Penn). And I also know this about Anna Kalandadze: she may never win another swim title again in her life. Why, you ask? Well, it is because of her team mate, the former Will Thomas.
And who just is this Will Thomas? Let me tell you. Will Thomas, like Anna Kalandadze, is smart. Will Thomas is a superior athlete. Will Thomas is dedicated to swimming. However, unlike Anna, Will Thomas is male.
Will Thomas had competed on Penn’s Men’s Swim team for 3 years. But then, come his senior year, Will became Lia, a “transgender woman”. Now, Lia is a member of Penn’s Women’s Swim team. That is correct. The University of Pennsylvania has a man on the girls swim team. So when Will and Anna took to the pool for a recent competition, Anna Kalandadze finished in second place. Thirty-eight seconds behind Will.
How does this happen? How has it become so acceptable for men to compete on women’s teams? Well, I believe that slowly but surely, this has all just become accepted and then normalized. It’s not accepted through any legislative process, but accepted by the Left, and then echoed by the Left-loving media. Again and again. Until, finally, you can no longer argue. It is now fact. Any XY chromosome pair be damned.
Now, to the Left, Lia is no longer male. Lia has become an actual woman. Case closed! (Regardless of any 5th grade science book). So, the Democratic Party of Science will now call Lia a girl. And so does the media. They call Lia “she”. And “her”. Soon everybody does. Now Lia can use the ladies room with your daughter. Yep, just like that, Will is now Lia, a woman. Penis and all.
There are several reasons that people will go along with a charade such as this. One is that people actually agree with the Left’s mentality. Others may just not care that a woman (in this case Anna Kalandadze) has her lifelong work essentially sabotaged. But the real reason, the truth, is usually not discussed. Because the real reason is fear. Yes, fear of repercussion. Fear of slander. Fear of extremists “peacefully protesting” at your front door.
Because after the Left normalizes it, so too does the liberal press. Oh and the Twitter-maniacs, as well as the any issue-of-the-day protesters. Anyone with a dissenting opinion is now vilified. They are called transphobic and intolerant, and much worse. People, real people, not just the celebrity types, are afraid of the cancel culture that will be waiting for them in the wings. Even Republicans. Really?
This acceptance by normalization is happening way too much these days. Why, it was just yesterday when illegal aliens, oh, I’m so sorry, I mean undocumented migrants, were not allowed to vote. Well, at least we still have abortion on demand. America has the best women’s healthcare.
